YOUMAN

YOUMAN, the artist name of German musician, composer and producer Andreas Friedrichs, releases his new single ‘Take Your Tears Away’, an intimate and emotionally restrained deep house track that marks a clear shift in his sound. Active under this name since 2008, YOUMAN is known for combining atmospheric electronic production with strong melodic songwriting.

YOUMAN’s artistic development has been shaped by both mentorship and collaboration. Personal exchange with Klaus Doldinger, including time spent at his studio in Icking, served as an important source of inspiration, while hands-on studio work with producers Peter Ries and Gunther Mende, particularly the intensive collaboration with Ries, played a key role in shaping his artistic and production level.

In addition to his solo work, YOUMAN is one half of the duo GroovEmotions. He has received international recognition for his film music, including Gold and Platinum awards for his score to the short film ‘Infinity + 1’, and has achieved multiple chart placements in the German DJ Dance Charts and the Euro Indie Music Charts.
