Damon Brock
Singer-songwriter Damon Brock from Worthing, UK, releases his latest single, A Different Light, on May 2. Written and recorded at his home studio this winter, the self-produced acoustic song explores the trials of moral dilemmas and the unexpected nature of doing what’s right.
With an intimate New Folk sound, A Different Light invites listeners into Brock’s world of storytelling, where familiar melodies and honest lyricism illuminate the grey areas of human experience. Inspired by classic folk and singer-songwriter traditions, Brock wanted the story and message to take the lead, crafting a track that feels both timeless and deeply personal.
"This song is about those moments when moral codes are tested, and the choices made aren’t always those expected," says Brock. "It’s about growth, understanding, and seeing the world through, well, a different light."
About the stripped-back instrumentation, Brock says "I wanted to set these songs in a place where the stories shine through and where the purity of the strong melodies cocoon the listener". A Different Light serves as a powerful introduction to what’s to come, with two more tracks set for release in the summer.
Brock will be playing these tunes and more live this summer, though, as his followers know, his ability to play live is sadly limited by his commitment
to caring for his disabled wife.

Dellacoma
Dellacoma are raw, explosive and potent. After almost 4 years of exhaustive touring across Australia, USA, UK and Europe in support of their debut album, South of Everything, 2019 saw the band take a touring break while Rio began work on the second album “Blood” which was released in 2021.
2023 saw the arrival of Rob Moody (guitar) and John Justus (guitar/piano) as well as the return to international touring with the band hitting the US for the first time since 2018.
“More Than Survival” is Dellacoma’s first single from their highly anticipated third studio album, scheduled to drop in 2025 with further US and European tours to follow.
"More Than Survival" is a song about recognizing that you've spent a long time time in survival mode and wanting more than that. Wanting to actually thrive.

Desert Kites
Desert Kites, hailing from Dundee, are an alternative rock band that intricately weaves together the sonic influences of 90s grunge and indie rock. Their musical palette also incorporates hints of shoegaze and pays homage to the timeless sounds of classic and prog rock. The essence of their songs mirrors the diverse tapestry of life – sometimes brimming with anger, other times soaked in sadness, and occasionally draped in indifference, yet consistently poetic. Opting for imagery over a linear narrative, Desert Kites crafts lyrical montages that offer unique perspectives into the human experience. These poetic expressions are skillfully woven into solid melodic structures, creating a distinctive musical identity. Born out of the tumultuous period of lockdown in 2020, Desert Kites emerged when singer/songwriter and guitarist Shaleph O’Neill (known for his contributions to Nonstopcamels, Pigpen, Think Tank, and The Zephyrs) rediscovered his passion for the guitar after a hiatus of almost two decades. Seeking refuge from the challenges of home life during the pandemic, Shaleph embarked on solitary rehearsals at the S2K studios in Dundee. As lockdown restrictions eased, Shaleph enlisted the talents of drummer Michael Szeremet (formerly of Blackjacket, Frown, and Boy Afraid). Their collaboration, coupled with the engineering and bass guitar expertise of Stuart Hanna, marked the genesis of Desert Kites. The journey commenced with the recording of their debut single, "Coming Home to You," in the autumn of 2021. Desert Kites encapsulates a revitalized musical spirit, born from the challenges of the times, and promises a unique blend of emotive storytelling within a framework of captivating melodies.

DOS is an Austrian producer and DJ from Vienna, who has been making music since mid 2010s. Often linked to the early lo-fi house movement, his productions combine rough-edged drum textures, reduced melodic elements and a clear rhythmic focus, balancing club functionality with a more introspective tone. DOS has released on influential underground labels including Shall Not Fade, Lobster Theremin, and Nerang Recordings, where his tracks gained international DJ support and helped establish his distinct sonic identity.
