Tony and Mike, the rhythmic backbone of the Local Staple and now disbanded "Two Tone Tony and the Carburator Cats", regrouped with the intent of writing and recording New Material without a preconceived outcome or the entrapments of strict genre classifications. This resulted in what would become the core underbelly of The Hilljack Stompers.
After experimenting with several talented session artists, the group added Jamie Parks to provide thunderous Drums that tease you with jabs and then pound into your head with brute force.
Ali, a powerhouse who was fronting an unrelated Local Act, was stalked and later hijacked to complete the evolution, adding her own broad, soulful, influential ingredients and a Voice that sirens for itself.

Asgard Raven is an Indie-rock artist from the south of England, UK who has gained support from Radio X, BBC, Amazing Radio and a host of other great stations and blogs around the world.
Producing songs born from experiences during deployments in the Army, Joe (singer and songwriter) draws on many influences including punk, rock, blues and indie music, he produces a unique landscape of sound reminiscent of early 90s Britpop and rock records.
Asgard Ravens' music is recorded at Sunrise Sound Studio in Hampshire, produced by lead guitarist Marc Burford, with the final mix done by Mat Leppanen at Animal Farm's studio in London.
